Boondocks

The boondocks is a place that's really far away from city or town. It's a place where not many people live and there might not be a lot of things to do or see. Boondocks is usually in the countryside, far from big cities. So you might see more trees, animals, and open spaces there. People who live in the boondocks may not have all the same things to do as people who live in cities or towns like going to a mall or a movie theater. They might spend more time outside and make up games or play with each other.
