Booting process of Windows

The booting process of windows is how your computer starts up. It's like a chain reaction and involves a lot of different steps.

First, when you press the power button on your laptop or press the restart button, your computer will start with the Power On Self Test, or POST. This is where your computer looks at all the parts inside and makes sure they are running correctly.

Second, your computer will read the Basic Input Output System, or BIOS. This is like an instruction manual on how to start up the computer.

Third, the BIOS will tell the computer to look for the boot sector, which is a small piece of memory that stores instructions on how to load the operating system.

Once the boot sector is found, the BIOS reads the instructions and finds the Windows operating system.

Fourth, Windows will then start to load. It will look for all the drivers, files and programs that you need in order to use your computer.

Fifth, once everything is loaded and ready, you will see the Windows login screen. That's when you can type in your credentials and start using your computer.
