Borda count

Borda Count is a way to decide who wins a competition. Imagine you have 5 people competing in a race. You can use Borda Count to pick who wins the race.

The first step is to give each person a score. The person who crosses the finish line first gets 5 points, the person who crosses second gets 4 points, and so on down to the last person, who gets 1 point.

Once you have all the scores, you add them up. The person with the most points wins the race. That is called the Borda Count.
