Bottom-up proteomics

Bottom-up proteomics is a way to study proteins, which are very important for our bodies to work. It starts by breaking down proteins into smaller pieces called peptides. By studying these pieces, scientists can figure out what proteins are made of and how they work. They can also look for proteins that might be related to diseases, so that they can develop better treatments and cures.
