Boundary conformal field theory

Boundary conformal field theory (BCFT) is a type of physics theory used to understand the behaviour of particles and forces that exist in more than one dimension. It is based on the idea of "conformal symmetry" which essentially means that things look the same no matter how you look at them. For example, a circle looks the same when you rotate it or when you look at it from different angles. In BCFT, particles and forces are assumed to be symmetrical in the same way. This means that they don't change regardless of the perspective you take. BCFT helps us to understand how particles interact with each other in each dimension and how these interactions can affect the whole system.
