ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bourride

Bourride is a special soup that comes from France. It's made in a big pot with lots of yummy ingredients. First, the chefs put in onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Then they add some fish broth and let it simmer for a while.

Next, they put in some pieces of fish, like cod or monkfish, and let them cook until they're nice and tender. They also put in some other seafood, like mussels or clams.

But here's the special part: the chefs also put in a special sauce called aioli. Aioli is made from garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. They mix it up until it's all creamy, then they add it to the soup. It gives the soup a really delicious flavor.

When the soup is all done, they serve it with some crusty bread on the side. You can dip the bread in the soup and it tastes really good! Bourride is a special soup that people in France love to eat, and now you know how to make it, too!
