Boy Scouts of America membership controversies

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is an organization that helps teach boys important leadership and outdoors skills. Recently, they have faced some controversy over their rules on membership. Some people do not believe it is fair that the BSA does not allow girls to join and that they don't allow gay or transgender scouts. This means that boys and girls cannot equally participate in the BSA and some people feel that this is not fair and is not in line with the values of the organization. The BSA is working hard to try and find a way to make sure that everyone is included and that everyone has an equal chance to benefit from their programs.
