ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Boycott Chinese products

Okay kiddo, so a boycott is when people decide not to buy or use something because they don't like it or they don't agree with how it's made or sold. In this case, some people are choosing to boycott products that are made in China.

China is a big country that makes a lot of things that people use every day, like toys, clothes, and electronics. But some people are upset with China because they feel that the government isn't treating people fairly and there are human rights issues.

So, to try to make a difference and show that they don't want to support China, some people are choosing to avoid buying things that are made there. They might look for products that are made in other countries, or try to make things by themselves. It's like if you didn't want to eat broccoli because you didn't like how it tasted, you could choose not to buy it at the grocery store.

Remember, it's important to always do your own research and make your own decisions. It's okay if some people want to boycott Chinese products, but it's also okay if others choose to use them. As long as you know why you're making a decision, that's what's important.
