Braccae

Braccae are a type of pants that people used to wear a really long time ago. They are basically like long shorts that go down to your knees or ankles. They were made out of a sturdy fabric and were really practical for doing things like walking long distances or working in the fields. Back in the day, people didn't have as many clothing options as we do now, so they had to wear clothes that could withstand a lot of wear and tear. Braccae were also worn by warriors, like soldiers in the Roman army. They were popular in many different cultures across Europe and Asia, but eventually fell out of fashion as people started wearing more modern clothing styles. Nowadays, you might see people wearing braccae in reenactments or historical events, but they are not commonly worn in everyday life.
