ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Brick

A brick is a small square or rectangular block made of clay or hardened mud that is used to build walls and other structures. It's like playing with Legos, but for grown-ups!
First, people dig up clay from the ground and mix it with water to make a clay mush. Then they put this mush into molds to shape it into a brick.
After the mold is filled with the clay mixture, the brick is taken out and left in the sun to dry into a hard block. It becomes as hard as a rock, so you can stack it on top of other bricks to build a wall.
Bricks have been used for thousands of years to build houses and other buildings. They are very strong and can last a very long time if they are taken care of. So, next time you see a brick building, you can think about all the hard work that went into making those bricks!
