Britannia Superior

"Britannia superior" is a fancy way of saying "Northern Britain". A long time ago, there was a big country called "Britain" which was divided into different parts ruled by different people. "Britannia superior" was the part of Britain that was ruled by the ancient Romans. They thought it was really important and put a lot of effort into making it a nice place to live. They built roads, towns and big buildings, and they even built a wall called Hadrian's Wall to keep out the bad guys. Today, "Britannia superior" doesn't exist anymore because the Romans left a long time ago, but we can still see some of the things they built and learn about their history.
