ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

British firms (organised crime)

So, sometimes there are mean people called "organised crime" who want to make a lot of money by doing illegal things. And sometimes, these mean people start or run companies (like shops or factories) that do bad things secretly to make money. These companies might sell illegal drugs, steal things, or smuggle products across borders.

In Britain, there are some companies or firms that have been caught doing these bad things, and the people running the companies are called "British organised crime." This is because they work together like a team to do bad things and make money. The government doesn't like this because it's not fair or safe for people, so they try to catch them and make them stop.
