British small press comics

Okay kiddo, let me explain what British small press comics are! You know how you love looking at comic books with all the bright colors and cool stories? Well, some grown-ups love making their own comic books too!

In Britain, there are lots of people who make their own comic books that aren't sold in big stores like your local comic shop. These comics are called small press because they're made by just a few people and usually only a small number of copies are printed.

These comics can be about anything - funny stories, scary stories, action stories - and can be drawn with pencils, pens, or even computer programs! Sometimes these comics are even made with a photocopier!

Because these comics aren't sold in big stores, people who make them often go to events called comic conventions to sell and trade their comics with other fans. Some of these small press comics become really popular and even get picked up by big comic book publishers!

So you see, British small press comics are just like the comic books you love, but made by people who love to create their own stories and share them with others. Who knows, maybe one day you'll make your own comic book too!
