Browncoat

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes people wear jackets and shirts that are all one color like blue or green? Well, some people like to wear jackets and shirts that are a special color called brown. And some people who wear those brown jackets and shirts are called browncoats.

Now here's where it gets a little tricky. You know how you like different songs and movies and TV shows? Well, some grown-ups really like a TV show called Firefly, and the people who wear brown coats are often big fans of that TV show. The characters on Firefly wear brown coats, so the fans of the show started wearing brown coats too to show how much they loved the show.

So, basically, a browncoat is just someone who likes wearing brown jackets and shirts and who is a big fan of the TV show Firefly.
