Browser hijacking is when someone takes control of your web browser and makes changes to it without your permission. This can include changing your home page, adding new toolbars and they can even put ads on the web pages you visit. It's like a hacker has taken over your browser. To make it stop, you will need to uninstall the hijacking software or use antivirus or anti-malware tools to get rid of it.
