Bruno Beger
Bruno Beger was a man who lived a long time ago in a country called Germany. He used to work for the government and his job was to figure out who was Jewish or Roma (a group of people who were also being treated badly at that time) and then make them go to a place called a concentration camp.
Concentration camps are not a nice place to go. They are like a prison, but way worse. People who were sent there were treated terribly and some even died. Bruno Beger was responsible for making sure that these people were sent to the concentration camps, which is not a good thing to do.
Even though Bruno Beger did some bad things, we need to remember that he was just one person who was following orders. That doesn't mean that what he did was okay, but sometimes it's hard to stand up against people who are in charge. It's important to always try to do what's right, even if it's hard.
