ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Buchimgae

Buchimgae is a Korean dish that is kind of like a pancake, but it's not sweet like the pancakes you might have for breakfast. Instead, it's made with different kinds of vegetables and sometimes meat or seafood.

To make buchimgae, you mix together flour and water to make a batter. Then you add in things like sliced onions, green onions, carrots, zucchini, and sometimes shrimp or sliced beef. You mix everything together and then scoop some of the mixture into a pan and cook it on both sides until it's crispy and golden brown.

Some people like to dip their buchimgae in a sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil, while others just eat it plain. It's a tasty and filling meal that's popular in Korea and enjoyed by many people around the world.
