Buckeye, Arizona is a town in the state of Arizona. It is named after the Buckeye tree which is native to Arizona and has a nut that looks like a buckeye. It was originally founded in 1888 as a small farming town and over the years has grown to become the 9th fastest growing city in the United States. It is known for its great schools and many parks which make it a popular place to live. It is close to the big cities of Phoenix and Tucson, so there are lots of things to do and see nearby.
