Buddy film

A buddy film is a type of movie that stars two people who become close friends and help each other out. In a buddy film, the two main characters usually have different personalities or backgrounds and sometimes disagree, but they still become friends over the course of the story. The two friends often go on an adventure, like trying to solve a mystery, track down a criminal, or save someone from a dangerous situation. Some examples of buddy films are The Goonies, Midnight Run, and 48 Hours.
