Buko pie

Okay kiddo, buko pie is a yummy dessert that usually comes from the Philippines. It's a pie made with a special type of coconut called "buko" and some other yummy ingredients like milk, sugar, and sometimes even eggs.

To make a buko pie, you first have to cut open the buko coconut, take out the flesh from inside, and then chop it up into little pieces. Then you mix the chopped up buko with some milk and sugar to make a sweet filling.

The filling is then put into a pie crust, which is like a yummy pastry that holds all the filling inside. The pie crust is usually made with flour, butter, and some other ingredients, and then rolled out flat and put into a pie pan.

The buko filling is poured into the pie crust, and then sometimes it's topped with some more of the pastry dough, or some crumbled up butter and sugar. Then the pie is baked in the oven until it's golden brown and delicious.

When the pie is all done, it's usually cut up into slices and served with a dollop of whipped cream on top. It's a sweet and yummy treat that lots of people in the Philippines love to eat, especially during special occasions like birthdays or holidays.
