ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bulbospongiosus muscle

The bulbospongiosus muscle is a part of your body that helps you pee or pee-pee like a big boy, little buddy. It's located between your wee-wee and your poop-shoot, right in the middle of your undercarriage.

This muscle has a special job of squeezing your wee-wee and forcing out all the pee-pee that's inside when you need to go potty. It's like when you squeeze a juice box, and all the juice comes out - but instead of juice, it's pee-pee!

When you need to pee, your brain tells your body to let it out. The bulbospongiosus muscle tightens up to squeeze the wee-wee, and the pee-pee comes out through a little hole in the front of your body called the urethra.

This muscle is also really important for big boys because it helps them have special feelings when they do something called "sex" or "making love." It helps push the white sticky stuff out of their wee-wee, which helps create baby starting cells.

So that's what the bulbospongiosus muscle is, little buddy - a special muscle that helps you pee, and does other important things when you grow up. Cool, huh?
