Bullying in the legal profession

Bullying in the legal profession is when someone who works as a lawyer or in a law-related job is being mean to another person they work with. Just like when some kids on the playground might be mean to a classmate, some grown-ups who work in the legal world can be mean to each other too.

This might happen if someone is called a mean name, made fun of or not included in things, or if someone is being shouted at or ignored. It can also happen if someone is being teased about their race, gender, or other things about them that make them who they are. This is called discrimination.

Bullying is never okay, and grown-ups should treat each other with respect, just like they would want to be treated. There are rules and laws that say that people should not be mean to each other or discriminate against each other, and if someone does this, they can get in trouble with their boss or even the law.

It's important to speak up if someone is being bullied, and tell an adult who can help make it stop. Everyone deserves to feel happy and safe at their job, no matter where they work.
