Bunding

Bunding is like a big bowl or a swimming pool that we make around important stuff. This big bowl is made up of walls that prevent any water or liquid from coming out of it. We make bundings to keep things safe and protected from dangerous liquids that can cause harm.

For example, let’s say we have a big important area where we store oils, chemicals or fuel. We surround this area by a bunding so that if any of these liquids spill or leak out, they will be contained within the bunding instead of spreading out and creating a dangerous situation.

The bunding can be made from different materials like concrete, steel or plastic. They’re basically like a fence that can hold out anything that could harm the things inside. So, if we imagine our swimming pool as a bunding, it keeps the water inside the pool and prevents it from flooding over into the garden.

Lastly, bundings are important because they help prevent damage to things around them by confining what’s inside. They protect and provide peace of mind knowing that there’s an extra layer of protection for when things go wrong.
