Bungaroosh

Hey there kiddo! Bungaroosh is a word that describes a type of old building material. It was used a long time ago, when people didn't have easy access to the types of materials we use today.

To make bungaroosh, people would take pieces of broken pottery, bricks, and other scrap materials, and mix them together with some lime mortar. This mixture would then be used to build walls and structures.

The cool thing about bungaroosh is that it was really good at keeping buildings cool on hot days. That's because the mixture was porous, which means that air could flow through it easily. This allowed the buildings to stay comfortable even on the hottest days of the year.

Unfortunately, bungaroosh is not used much anymore. We have access to other, more modern building materials that are easier to work with and safer to use. But, if you ever come across an old building made with bungaroosh, you'll know it's a special piece of history that helped keep people cool centuries ago.
