Burst mode (photography)

Burst mode in photography is like when you eat your favorite candy really quickly. When you take a picture normally, you only get one picture at a time, just like when you only get one candy at a time. But when you use burst mode, the camera takes many pictures one after the other really fast, just like when you eat many candies really fast.

This is helpful when you want to capture a moment that happens really quickly, like if your friend jumps up really high or if a bird flies by really fast. When you take many pictures really quickly in burst mode, you have a better chance of getting a good picture of that moment, even if you missed it with just one picture.

But just like when you eat too many candies and your tummy gets upset, using burst mode can fill up your camera's memory really quickly, which means you won't be able to take any more pictures until you delete some of the ones you already took. So it's important to only use burst mode when you really need it, just like how you should only eat your favorite candy every once in a while.
