ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Buy NZ Made

Okay buddy, let me explain this to you like you're a little kid. You know how we sometimes buy toys or clothes or even food from the store? Well, some of the things we buy are made right here in New Zealand, by people who live and work here. These things are called "NZ Made" products.

Now, when we buy NZ Made products, we are helping the people who make them. They get paid for their hard work and they can use that money to buy things for their own families, just like we do. And when they have more money, they can spend it at other local businesses, like stores or cafes. This helps our local economy grow and stay strong.

Another reason why it's important to buy NZ Made is because it's good for the environment. When things are made overseas and then shipped to us, it takes a lot of fuel and energy to get them here. But when things are made here in New Zealand, they don't have to travel as far, which means less pollution and less carbon emissions that are harmful to our planet.

So, to sum it up, when we buy NZ Made products, we are helping our local economy, supporting hardworking Kiwis, and doing our part to protect our environment. Sounds pretty good, right?
