Byzantine fault tolerance

Byzantine fault tolerance is when a computer system can keep running even if some parts of it don't work properly. It is like having lots of extra back-up parts for the computer so that if something stops working, the computer can still keep going. It is like having lots of helpers to help you do a job even if one helper doesn't finish their part of the job.
