ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

CAS latency

Cas Latency is a measure of how long it takes for a computer to perform certain tasks like when you type something in or open a program. It is measured in clock cycles, which is the time it takes for a computer to do one individual task. The lower the cas latency is, the faster your computer can do tasks and the better it will perform overall.
