CDNA library

Imagine you have a box full of books, each book is like a gene in our body. So, a CDNA library is like a collection of all the genes in our body that have been removed from their natural location in the DNA and put into a special kind of box called a "library".

To make this library, scientists chop up all the genes in a cell and convert them into a form called CDNA. Just like how you can break down a Lego castle and use those same Legos to build a spaceship, we can use the CDNA to build a library that has every gene in our body.
