CINOA

Cinoa is actually CINOA, an acronym that stands for the International Confederation of Art and Antique Dealers' Associations. The CINOA is like a big club made up of lots of smaller clubs (or associations) from different countries around the world.

These smaller clubs (or associations) are made up of people who really like art and antiques, and who work with them in different ways. Some people might sell art and antiques in a shop or online, others might own or manage galleries that display and sell art to people who want to buy it.

The CINOA was set up to help these smaller clubs (or associations) to work together to make sure that the art and antiques that are bought and sold all over the world are real (genuine) and not fake.

Because some art and antiques are very old, they can be very valuable and there are some naughty people who try to make copies and pass them off as the real thing to make lots of money. This is not good, so the CINOA is very careful to check that everything is as it should be before it is sold.

The CINOA is like a big brother (or sister) watching out for all the art and antique clubs (or associations) around the world, to make sure that everything is safe and genuine, so that everyone can enjoy art and antiques without any worry.
