COLEX process (isotopic separation)

Colex process is a way that scientists can separate atoms of different kinds (called isotopes). It lets them sort those atoms using electricity, so they can pick the ones they want. To do that, they put the atoms into a machine that has two electric parts, or “plates”. When they turn on this electricity, the atoms get pushed around, and they get separated. Bigger atoms move one way, and smaller atoms move another. By doing this, scientists can get just the atoms they want and use them for different things.
