COPINE scale

The copine scale is just a way that grown-ups use to talk about how important some pieces of information are. It's like having a special ranking system for information, so we can decide which pieces of information are most important and which are not as important.

When we rate information using the copine scale, we give it a number from 0 to 10. If we say something has a copine score of 0, it means that it's not important at all. But if we say something has a copine score of 10, it means that it's super important and we really need to pay attention to it.

For example, if someone told us that it's raining outside and we want to know if we need to wear a raincoat or not, we might give that information a copine score of 3. It's good to know, but it's not super important. But if someone told us that our house was on fire, we would give that information a copine score of 10 because it's very important and we need to take action right away.

So basically, the copine scale helps us to decide how important information is so we can prioritize and make decisions based on it.
