COVID-19 misinformation in the Philippines

Okay, so you know how we have been hearing a lot about a sickness called COVID-19? Well, there are some people who are telling false things about it in the Philippines. These false things are called "misinformation."

Basically, some people are saying things that are not true about COVID-19. They are making up stories or saying things they heard that are not backed up by facts. For example, they might say that COVID-19 is not dangerous and that people do not need to wear masks or wash their hands.

This is very dangerous because it can make people think that COVID-19 is not a big deal and they might not take the proper precautions to protect themselves and others from getting sick. This can cause more people to get sick and can even lead to people dying from the illness.

It is important to always make sure that the information we hear about COVID-19 from trusted sources like doctors and government officials is true and backed up by facts. That way, we can all stay safe and help stop the spread of the illness.
