Cabane strut

Okay kiddo, let me explain the cabane strut to you in a simple way. Imagine a piece of metal that looks like a stick and it's attached to the top of an airplane's fuselage, which is like the airplane's body. This stick is bent at an angle and goes up towards the airplane's wings. The stick is called a cabane strut.

The cabane strut is very important because it helps to support the weight of the airplane's wings. It is kind of like a pillar that holds up a roof on a house. Without the cabane strut, the airplane's wings would not stay in the right place and the airplane would not be able to fly properly.

Sometimes, an airplane has more than one cabane strut, depending on how big the wings are and how much weight they need to support. So, next time you see an airplane, look closely and you might be able to spot the cabane struts!
