Caboose

Okay kiddo, you know how on a train there are different parts like the engine that makes it go and the cars that carry stuff or people? Well, the caboose is like the last car in the train. It’s a special car where the people who work on the train, like the conductor and the brakeman, can sit and do their jobs.

The caboose used to be really important because it had a little kitchen for the workers to cook food and a place for them to sleep. They could also keep an eye on the other cars to make sure everything was okay. But now, most trains don't use cabooses anymore because they have better technology that helps the workers keep an eye on everything from the engine.

So, even though a caboose isn’t used as much anymore, it’s still a cool part of the train’s history and is often seen in movies or cartoons about trains.
