ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cache Discovery Protocol

A cache discovery protocol is a way for computers to find out if other computers have something that they need. For example, if you go to a website you are looking at, your computer can ask computers close by if they already have the page you are looking for. If the nearby computers have the page already, then your computer can get the page from them instead of having to get it from a far-away computer. This saves time and makes webpages load faster.
