Cache stampede is a type of situation that can happen when lots of users or computers try to access the same data from a computer's memory (cache) at the same time. It can cause the computer's system to be overwhelmed and slow down. It's like a stampede of people trying to get into the same store at once - the shopkeeper can't keep up!
