Okay kiddo, so you know how we have a special day for different people like your birthday or Christmas? Well, the Armenian Apostolic Church also has special days for important people, but they call it the calendar of saints.
These saints are people who lived a very good life and did special things for God. And the church thinks it's important to remember and celebrate them on their special day.
Each day on the calendar has a different saint's name on it. For example, there might be a day for Saint Gregory or Saint Astvatsatsin. And when that day comes around, people who believe in the Armenian Apostolic Church will honor that saint by going to church, praying, and maybe even having a special feast in their honor.
It's a way of showing respect and appreciation for the good things these saints did during their time on Earth. And it's also a way to remember their stories and the lessons they taught us about being kind and good to others. So, just like how we remember our loved ones' special days, the Armenian Apostolic Church remembers and celebrates the special days of its saints.
