Call waiting

When you're talking on the phone and someone else wants to talk to you, your phone will beep and tell you that someone else is trying to call. This is called call waiting. You can either choose to ignore the beep and keep talking to the person you're already on the phone with, or you can put them on hold and answer the other call. It's like when you're playing with one toy but your mom asks you if you want to play with another toy too. You can either keep playing with your toy or switch to the new one.
