Cameron–Clegg coalition

Okay kiddo, so imagine there are two big groups of people in charge of running a country, let's call them the Blue Party and the Yellow Party. They had an election, and nobody got enough votes to win by themselves. So, the Blue Party leader named Cameron and the Yellow Party leader named Clegg got together and decided to work together. They became the government together and worked as a team. This was called a coalition. They made decisions together and shared the job of running the country. They did this for a few years, but then they had another election and things changed again. But while they were working together, they had to make some big decisions that affected everyone, like how to spend money and what rules to make for everyone. That's basically what a coalition is.
