Caminetti v. United States
Okay kiddo, so there was a guy named Caminetti who wanted to take his girlfriend on a trip. But he couldn't because he was already married to another lady! So instead, he told his girlfriend to go on the trip with his friend.
But guess what? During the trip, they got a little too touchy-feely and did some things that were not allowed by law. When they came back, the police found out and they both got in trouble.
Caminetti tried to argue that he didn't know it was wrong, but the court didn't buy it. They said that he should have known better and that he was guilty of breaking the law.
