Camouflage

Camouflage is when something blends into its surroundings to look like it is not really there. For example, if a cat or deer wears a special coat of fur or spots, it can hide in the grass and look like part of the environment so that it is harder to see. People sometimes wear camouflage clothes when they go into the forest so they won't stand out from the trees and leaves.
