ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Canadian Labour Congress

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) is a group of people who work together to help make sure that everyone in Canada, from lawyers to nurses to people who work in restaurants, gets treated fairly at their job. They want to make sure that people all have the same rights, benefits, and opportunities to do well in their jobs. The CLC helps people who might not have all the same protections at work, speaks up for them, and tries to make sure that they get the best wages and working conditions they can. They also help people learn how to work together, like how to join unions and join forces to fight for their rights.
