Canadian pipe mine
A Canadian pipe mine is a big, deep hole in the ground where companies dig for precious materials like diamonds. Imagine you're playing in a sandbox and you find a really cool rock. Well, in Canada, they want to find the biggest, coolest rocks possible that are worth a lot of money.
