Cantabria

Cantabria is a small place in Spain, like a little state. It's in the top right corner of Spain, by the ocean. Cantabria is special because it has a lot of mountains and hills, which makes it really pretty to look at.

People have been living in Cantabria for a very long time, even before the Romans came to Spain. They left behind cool things like caves with paintings and drawings on the walls. There's even a really famous prehistoric cave called Altamira that lots of people visit to see the pretty pictures.

Cantabria is also famous for its food, especially seafood. People there love to eat things like tuna and anchovy and clams. And they make a special kind of cheese called Queso de Cabrales that's very strong and tasty.

In Cantabria, people speak Spanish but there's a special language called Cantabrian that some people still know how to speak. It's kind of unique because it's not exactly like Spanish, and not many people know how to speak it anymore.

Overall, Cantabria is a really cool place with lots of history, pretty landscapes, delicious food, and a special language.
