Sometimes people want their car audio to sound even better, so they add things like subwoofers and amplifiers. Subwoofers are special speakers that make the bass (low sounds) in music extra loud, like a boom box. And amplifiers help make the sound louder and clearer.

So, that's basically what car audio is all about. It's just like the radio and speakers you have at home, but made especially for cars and sometimes with extra special parts to make the music sound even better.
