Carbon neutrality

Carbon neutrality means that you balance the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) that you release into the air with an equal amount of CO2 taken out of the air. In other words, you're not releasing more CO2 than you're taking out. For example, when you drive your car, you release CO2, which increases the amount of CO2 in the air. To be carbon neutral, you would have to plant trees or install solar panels, which would suck up that extra CO2.
