Carlos Marighella
Carlos Marighella was a man who lived a long time ago and did some things that some people liked but other people didn't like. He was born in a country called Brazil in 1911, which is a very long time ago. He was a writer and a politician, which means he wrote books and talked about how to make the country better.
He thought that the government in Brazil was not fair to everyone and only helped a few people. He wanted to help everyone, not just a few people. He also thought that people should fight for their rights and not be afraid to speak up when something is wrong.
To help people fight for their rights, he started a group called the "Brazilian Communist Party" which is like a group of people who have the same ideas and work together to make them happen. Some people liked this group, but the government did not like it and thought it was dangerous.

He wrote a book called "The Mini Manual of the Urban Guerrilla" which talked about how to fight against the government. The book talked about some things that were not very nice, like how to use violence to make a point. Some people thought this was a bad idea and that violence was never the answer.
