Carmen Ramírez Degollado

Carmen Ramirez Degollado was a lady from Mexico who did many brave things to help others. She lived a long time ago, but people still remember her name because of her kindness and courage.

Carmen grew up in a place called Colima, which is in Mexico. Even as a little girl, she was very kind and helpful. She would often give food or clothes to people who were less fortunate than her.

As she grew older, Carmen became even more brave and strong. She helped people who were in trouble, even if it meant putting herself in danger. She would stand up for people who were being treated unfairly and make sure that everyone was treated with kindness and respect.

One time, there was a big earthquake in Mexico. Carmen was one of the first people to help the people who were hurt or trapped in the rubble. She worked tirelessly to help people find food, water, and a safe place to sleep. She even put herself in danger to save others.

Carmen also helped children who were living in poverty. She would collect clothes and toys for them and make sure that they had enough to eat. She even started a school for children who couldn't afford to go to school.

Sadly, Carmen was killed in a very tragic way. But even after she passed away, people still remembered all of the kind and brave things that she had done. She became a symbol of hope and courage for people all over Mexico.
