Cash-in-transit

Cash-in-transit is when money is transported from one place to another using a special vehicle. It's kind of like when you and your family go on a road trip in your car, but instead of taking snacks and toys, people are taking a lot of money to put in a bank or a store.

The vehicle used for cash-in-transit is different from normal cars, though. It's bigger, stronger, and has special things in it to keep the money safe. You might have seen these vehicles around before – they look like armored trucks or vans.

People who are transporting the money in cash-in-transit vehicles are also very careful and wear special clothes to protect themselves and the money from being stolen. They might wear bulletproof vests, helmets, and carry guns for extra protection.

So, cash-in-transit is when people transport a lot of money using a special, strong vehicle and wearing special clothes to keep themselves and the money safe. It's important to do this because there are bad people who might try to steal the money.
